The best VPN Black Friday deal live today is Surfshark’s: $67.23 for the first 27 months, which works out to $2.49 a month, then $79 a year.
Black Friday itself falls on November 27, 2026, but NordVPN, Surfshark, ExpressVPN and Private Internet Access already show Black Friday or early-access prices. The catch is renewal. NordVPN Basic costs $94.23 for 27 months, then $139.08 every year after.
We read each VPN’s own order page and renewal terms on November 4, 2026. Prices are in US dollars before tax and can change during the sale.
One deal here renews at almost the same monthly rate you pay today.
Which VPN Black Friday deals are live right now?

- Best for a long commitment: Private Internet Access. 3 years and 4 months at $2.03 a month, renewing at $81.20 every 3 years.
- Biggest name: NordVPN. Basic is $94.23 for 27 months, but it renews at $139.08 a year.
- Premium pick: ExpressVPN. Basic is $84 for 28 months in its Early Access Sale, then $99.95 a year.
- Longest refund window: CyberGhost. 45 days to change your mind on the $61.32 two-year plan.
- Lowest monthly rate: PureVPN. $1.69 a month, but only if you pay $101.55 for five years.
How we checked: We opened each VPN’s pricing or order page and its renewal terms on November 4, 2026, as a US visitor. Only deals shown on the vendor’s own page made the list.
We didn’t run speed tests for this update, so this is a price-and-terms comparison, not a hands-on review.
We dropped Atlas VPN, which Nord Security closed on April 24, 2024, and FastestVPN, whose pricing page showed plan prices we couldn’t match to a clear term. How we review software

How do the VPN deals compare on price and renewal?

The VPN deals one by one
Surfshark: the cheapest deal with a renewal you can live with
Surfshark’s pricing page tags its One plan as the “Black Friday deal”. Starter and One both cost $67.23 for the first 27 months (24 months plus 3 extra), and One+ costs $107.73.
Surfshark doesn’t print renewals on the pricing page, but its renewal price terms do: Starter renews at $79 a year, One at $99 and One+ at $119, before tax. It emails you 30 days before the renewal.
Best for: households, since every plan covers unlimited devices. Not ideal for: anyone outside the US who wants a fixed dollar price, because Surfshark charges in your card’s currency. More detail in our Surfshark review.
NordVPN: the known name, with the steepest renewal
NordVPN’s pricing page runs a Black Friday banner pairing the VPN with its antivirus. Basic is $94.23 for the first 27 months, Complete is $107.73 and Prime is $188.73, all with 3 extra months.
The renewals are the highest on this list: $139.08 a year for Basic and $219.48 for Complete. Complete adds the password manager, ad blocker and 1 TB of encrypted cloud storage.
Best for: people who want Complete’s extras in one bill. Not ideal for: anyone who’ll forget to cancel before year three. Our NordVPN review covers the apps and features.

ExpressVPN: an early-access sale on all three tiers
ExpressVPN’s pricing page calls it an Early Access Sale with “up to 80% off”. Basic costs $84 for the first 28 months, Advanced $126 and Express Pro $210.
After that, Basic renews at $99.95 a year, Advanced at $119.95 and Pro at $199.95. Basic covers 10 devices, and the refund guarantee is for new users only.
Best for: people who want ExpressVPN specifically and plan to keep it for more than two years. Not ideal for: anyone who needs more than 14 devices on one account.

Private Internet Access: the most predictable long-term price
PIA’s order page says “Early Access Sale: Black Friday savings start now”, with up to 83% off. The 3-year plan plus 4 extra months costs $2.03 a month, about $81.20 up front by our math.
It then renews at $81.20 every 3 years. That’s close to the deal rate, which no other VPN here matches. PIA also allows unlimited devices.
Best for: people who want to set it once and not think about pricing for three years. Not ideal for: anyone who isn’t sure they’ll want a VPN in 2028, since the term is long.

CyberGhost: the longest window to get your money back
The plans on CyberGhost’s homepage show 83% off a 2-year plan with 4 extra months: $2.19 a month, billed $61.32 for the first 28 months. The page we saw didn’t use the words Black Friday.
It renews at $61.32 a year, so you’d pay the 28-month price again every 12 months. CyberGhost’s support page confirms a 45-day refund on plans of 6 months or longer, and 14 days on monthly plans.
Best for: cautious buyers who want 45 days to test CyberGhost. Not ideal for: big households, since one account covers 7 devices.

PureVPN: the lowest monthly rate, if you commit for five years
PureVPN’s order page labels its 5-year Standard plan the “Black Friday deal”: $101.55 for 60 months, or $1.69 a month. It renews at $47.95 a year.
There’s a shorter option too: 27 months of Standard for $58.20, renewing at the same $47.95. Both come with a 31-day money-back guarantee and cover up to 10 devices.
Best for: people who want the lowest renewal on this list. Not ideal for: anyone wary of paying for five years up front.

Which VPNs haven’t started a Black Friday sale yet?
IPVanish’s pricing page had no Black Friday label on November 4. Its regular 2-year Essential plan is already low at $52.56 for 24 months, but it renews at $99.99 a year.

Proton VPN’s pricing page had no Black Friday banner either. VPN Plus costs $83.76 for the first 24 months, then $83.88 a year. We’ll add both if a sale goes live.
Is a Black Friday VPN deal worth it?
Usually yes, if you’d pay for a VPN anyway. The trick is to count the first renewal before you compare deals.
Add one renewal year to each first term and the order changes. Surfshark Starter comes to $146.23 for 39 months. ExpressVPN Basic is $183.95 for 40 months. NordVPN Basic is $233.31 for 39 months.
Already on one of these VPNs? The deal prices are introductory offers for new customers. Existing subscribers renew at the renewal price, per NordVPN’s offer terms.
What most VPN deal lists get wrong
The percentage isn’t measured against what you’ll pay later. ExpressVPN and PIA say their discounts are measured against the monthly plan price. That makes “80% off” look bigger than the real saving against a yearly renewal.
Countdown timers aren’t proof a deal is ending. PIA’s and IPVanish’s 2023 pages above both showed timers. None of the vendor pages we read this week gives an end date for its current offer.
Old deals get copied forward. Atlas VPN still shows up on deal lists, but the service shut down in 2024.
How do you pick the right VPN deal?
- How many devices? Surfshark, PIA and IPVanish allow unlimited. NordVPN and ExpressVPN Basic cover 10, CyberGhost 7.
- What will year three cost? Add the first term to one renewal year, as in the totals above.
- How long can you test it? CyberGhost gives 45 days on long plans, PureVPN 31, the rest 30.
- Where are you buying? Buy on the VPN’s site. PIA and NordVPN say app store purchases are refunded under the store’s rules.
Do you need a VPN or a proxy?
A VPN encrypts everything your device sends, which is what you want on hotel Wi-Fi. Proxies route specific traffic through other IP addresses, mostly for scraping and ad checks.
If that’s your use case, see our guides to residential proxy providers, ISP proxy providers and mobile proxy providers.

VPN Black Friday deals FAQs
When is Black Friday 2026 for VPN deals?
Black Friday is November 27, 2026, and Cyber Monday is November 30. You don’t have to wait, though. On November 4, NordVPN, Surfshark, ExpressVPN and PIA already showed Black Friday or early-access prices on their own pages.
Are Black Friday VPN deals only for new customers?
Mostly, yes. NordVPN’s terms say its introductory price applies only to the first period for new customers. ExpressVPN and PIA limit their money-back guarantees to new users. Existing subscribers usually renew at the standard renewal price.
What happens when the deal period ends?
The plan renews automatically at the renewal price unless you cancel. Surfshark emails you 30 days before renewal on plans longer than a month, and NordVPN sends a notice before charging. You can switch off auto-renewal from your account at any time.
Can I get a refund on a Black Friday VPN plan?
Yes, within the money-back window. That’s 30 days at NordVPN, Surfshark, ExpressVPN and PIA, 31 days at PureVPN, and 45 days on CyberGhost plans of 6 months or longer. App store purchases follow the store’s refund rules, not the VPN’s.
Which VPN Black Friday deal is the cheapest?
PureVPN has the lowest monthly rate at $1.69 on a 5-year plan, but that’s $101.55 up front. Among two-year deals, CyberGhost’s $61.32 for 28 months is the smallest bill. Surfshark’s $67.23 has the lower renewal of the two.
Can I use one VPN deal on all my devices?
It depends on the provider. Surfshark, Private Internet Access and IPVanish allow unlimited devices on one account. NordVPN and ExpressVPN Basic cover 10 devices, PureVPN up to 10, and CyberGhost 7.
What happened to Atlas VPN’s Black Friday deal?
There isn’t one. Atlas VPN shut down on April 24, 2024, and Nord Security moved its paid users to NordVPN for the rest of their subscription. Any list still promoting an Atlas VPN Black Friday deal is out of date.
Which VPN Black Friday deal should you pick?
Pick Surfshark if you want the cheapest first bill with a renewal you can live with, and unlimited devices. Pick PIA if you’d rather lock in a price for over three years.
Choose NordVPN or ExpressVPN if you already know you want that brand, and set a reminder for the renewal. Building a site this season too? See our WordPress Black Friday deals roundup.
